Adfam is a national charity dedicated to helping families that suffer from drug and alcohol abuse issues. At Adfam we want anyone affected by a family members addiction to drugs or alcohol to be able to benefit from healthy relationships as well as feel part of a loving and supportive family whilst enjoying mental and physical wellbeing.
The use of drugs and alcohol can ultimately destroy a family's wellbeing and the relationships within it.
We stop these incidents happening by enabling family members as well as support workers to influence the addict's decision-making.
We talked with family members and frontline laborers We understand that people who are facing difficulties often have answers. Our supporters informed what we do: We support and empower both people affected by substance misuse and the workers who support them with the evidence and compassion with us. For individuals we assemble skills, assets, confidence and pathways to help them themselves, their companions, customers, and communities.
The substance use impact on wellbeing and family relationships is both varied and profound. We access our work with close attention and care to what works in the real world. Our work is driven by our companions, supporters and associates and what they actually told us. In order to achieve this we take evidences in all aspects, appreciate the genuine experiences and formal research proves.
Our overall objective is driven by commitment and partnering with organisations which share similar sentiments towards addiction rehabilitation. We guarantee to treat people and families influenced by medications and liquor with deference and nobility, because we realise that partiality and disgrace are obstructions to recuperation and cause damages. We need to see a general public free from shame towards drugs and liquor clients and their families. we are going to fight it until it destroy.
